Cedar Cellars is a branding project inspired by Indigenous culture, created to represent a mock wine company with a deep connection to the natural world. This project encompasses the development of a distinct brand identity, including the creation of three unique wine varieties, logo design, packaging, mockups, and advertising materials. The three wine varieties reflect Indigenous themes and elements. Manidoo Noir, meaning "Spirit of the Earth," is a rich blend with wild berries, dark cherries, cedar, and tobacco flavors, embodying the sacred connection to nature. Miskwa Rosé, translating to "Red Reflection," is a refreshing rosé infused with subtle strawberry and floral notes, symbolizing the beauty of life’s cycles. Wabanong Blanc, meaning "Eastern Dawn," is a crisp white wine with hints of citrus and apple, celebrating the purity of beginnings and the energy of sunrise. The logo design, featuring a detailed cedar tree, symbolizes strength, growth, and cultural significance. The minimalist yet rustic branding ties the wines to their roots while appealing to modern aesthetics. Packaging and mockups were designed to showcase each variety's personality while maintaining a cohesive brand feel. Advertisements emphasize sustainability, connection, and premium quality, aligning with the values of Cedar Cellars. This project illustrates a harmonious blend of cultural reverence, design creativity, and storytelling, reflecting the potential of branding to celebrate heritage and foster meaningful connections.
